The creation of these two new products has been specifically designed to meet the needs of Papua New Guinean women entrepreneurs to start their businesses and to grow their businesses.
PRODUCT NAME: WIB START-UP PACKAGE
Range: K5,000 – K100,000
Interest Rate: 10%
Equity: (Cash Equity) 20% (with security) 30% (no security)
Term: 2-15 years
Qualification: Only Women owned and managed businesses
Ages: 18 – 55
PRODUCT NAME: WIB GROWER PACKAGE
Range K100,000 +
Interest Rate Match Market Rates
Equity Purely Historical or Historical + Cash Equity
Term 2 – 20 Years
Qualification Only Women owned and managed businesses
Ages 18 – 55
NDB has committed K20 million of funding for 2012 with further growth projected for 2013.
